Is there any way to get one of the main bodies shortened? What I'm wondering so you have more of an idea is that I want a main body that's more like 5'' long instead of 7'' so I can have a different look that isn't quite so long. Is this possible?

that's what I saw after I posted that, so he can pretty much put a hole in any section then?

Mostly the main bodies and extensions, yeah. Not all of the other parts.

I had him drill a switch hole in a 5" extension for this saber:
