One week flat for me...

WA-MA

Same for xwing in FL.

Edit: But Tim’s in the process of moving into a new house right now so it may take a little longer right now.

If that's not fast enough for you, email Tim and he may be able to arrange for faster delivery. But I don’t want to speak for him, so don’t take my word for it.

I think he means the 3" fem/fem piece...

Ok, I guess that makes more sense.

Now I wonder if he already had the main hilt piece, or is planning on drilling his own switch hole in one of the other pieces? [:p]

Yeah, it's the 3" double female piece, and I am having the button hole drilled in it. I also bought the male/female piece that is 2.5", just in case I want to extent the hilt down further to 11.45 or so - thinking I'll probably need that when I add sound. As is, my hilt will be a mere 9.45. [:)]

Me and you both, Todd, on that emitter #8! I no longer feel like a deadbeat! [:D]

Wow... It looks like everyone is buying the same thing...

You guys will beat me to the punch though. All of our spare cash is going to our camping supplies for the first week of June.

I currently have the 2.5" extension, the ribbed section, and the tapered pommel. I also have a switch box sitting here for it. All I need is emitter #8 and the 3" fem/fem section. Oh... And a piece of PVC to cover the seam going from the 2.5" section to the 3" section. That part is going to be black, as are the inner spaces of the ribbed section and the switch box.

Its the saber that I'll be using for my Nihilus costume. [:)] [:)] [:)]

I'm waiting for the seller to list more masks before I start it. They are all handcrafted to order and take 4 weeks.

Right now, the costume only exists in my head, but by Halloween, it should be complete. [;)]

I don't think so... The eBay store name is 'Vavra Art', user ID 'big water99'. They do Nihilus, Revan, Clone Toopers, and pre-cyborg (Kaleesh/Sheeluu?) Grievous masks.

EDIT-

No, its definitely not the same person. I just looked at what I guess was supposed to be Revan on http://www.jedi-arts.net/ , and the mask looked like crap. Vavra Art's masks look amazing.

EDIT2-

Here are some of Vavra Arts custom masks:

The half masks are something like $75 each, and the Cody helmet was commissioned for around $475. But then again, I think MR is coming out/ has come out with a nicer Cody helmet for a little more.

I'll grab my Nihilus mask, and be done with it. You know if you buy the mask, then you have to complete the costume, right? Thats just the way it works.

EDIT-

What was this thread about again? [:D]

I ordered the #5 emitter, extension piece and sent my main hilt section and the extension to Tim for machining my grip grooves in both of those. I sent my 2nd MHS saber to Alex to add sound and mount my custom pommel over the stock one. Once I get everything back, then I will do a cut out on an aluminum tube to slide over the main hilt section. Replace the switch with the positive on negative off type that I prefer for dueling. Paint the emitter copper/black. Tap a hole for the thumbscrew and tap a whole for the blade adjust on the bottom of the hilt right under the switch. Then tap hole for the covertech button and I'm done. Just in time for COMICON. Whew! All that work and this isn't even my final hilt. It's just a temporary one so I can have one to use while must final custom machined one is being built. I just don't want to wait for it, that ones gonna take a few months to finish.
