View Full Version : Question about a blade holder

The saber I am currently working on called for LED blade holder # 10. My friend who has built several sabers has advised me that dueling with that holder could cause damage to the holder itself.

My question is, how well does that holder hold up in dueling, and if that is the case, would holder # 12 hold up in dueling?

12 is fine. I cant speak for #10 cause I haven't used it yet. #9 would probably work better though than 10

I thought about #9, but to me it seemed to closed off. The pommel of my saber is "heavy" (MPS Pommel style 3v2) so I wanted to top to be very open.

Thank you for the information on 12 tho.

#10 is plenty strong. I duel with my saber that has that blade holder.

Yeah that blade holder works great. It's my favorite one so far. I'm using it on my upcoming project.

BH#10 works great. I have used it on several sabers and haven't had any problems with it yet.
