There has been a bit of a sour taste from some of the guys looking into the 501st. Since you guys are full blown rebel legion members I ask you this...Is it really that hard to get in to a group? My wife and I lack sewing skills, don't even have a sewing machine. However I did purchase a very nice Jedi outfit from a great lady who is on Ebay and I am just wondering if it really that hard to become a member. The idea of doing special events for charity or making visits at a childrens hospital is really awsome and something I would not mind getting in to, the problem is I am much more comfortable with a $40.00 pair of boots as opposed to a $400.00 pair when I will only wear them maybe 2 or 3 times a year. Anyway I think there would be quite a few of us here that would be interested in knowing right from the members what are the big key things you guys are looking for.
And why is the website only half a page? That's a little nerve-wracking[;)]

As a matter of fact the Jedi costume is the easiest to use to join. Take a pic of yourself [without robe] and submit it to them. Unless you are not canon looking [which I can't believe] you will easily be admitted. Go to rebellegion.com to do this. If you have any more questions and I don't have the answers, I will send you to our Membership officer for help.

Nope, never heard of her. Costumes seem pretty good. What are her prices like? We usually use local people for costumes [mostly anyone we can get to do them]

Exceptions to that are special projects. We are currently working on a RFT [Rebel Fleet Trooper...you know, the guys from beginning of EP4 that are routed by the stormtroopers. We are planning to turn the tables on them] uniform for COMICON. We have done endless hours of research and now can replicate the entire uniform from helmet to boots, as inexpensively as possible. I was planning on joining the Omega Wing TIE Fighter Pilots. I love how they speak about the Rebel Pilots. "If they get captured, they're already in PRISON ORANGE. TIE Pilots wear classic black."

Jedi Mind tricks are for the weak minded... on that note, perhaps you missed the part where I said "I was planning" doesn't make me a member.

I'll have a Jedi costume well before a TIE Pilot's.
