Hey, I posted these in a halloween thread in the Misc section, and I figured the costuming section would be more appropriate. Here is my gf and I on Halloween dressed up as brother and sister. Yeah, kind of weird, but... well...lol.

We had a great time passing out candy to all the kids. (It was our first time doing that since we bought our house together.) Then we went out and had a great time with our friends. (even though it rained all night in D.C.)

Thanks. We're thinking about wearing them to Star Wars in Concert later this month, but we're a little nervous that we'll look silly. We've never done anything like that before.

Do it! You do not, and will not look silly, those are good costumes.

You'll have fun and you won't be the only adults in costume.

In fact, you will probably have some of the better adult costumes that you will see there, at least from what I saw at the Anaheim CA venue.

Don't be surprised if they try to recruit you to join the Rebel Legion while you're there!

Wow, thanks J-lo! I really do think it would make the whole event more fun. I was actually thinking about submitting the costumes to the Rebel Legion. I believe it's the Terrapin Base.

Check out the Costuming Standards for your costumes first, before submitting, to make sure you have all the items you need to make them Formal.

It's never a bad idea to make a forum account and post your pics in the appropriate areas and ask people what they think. They can give you honest opinions and tell you if they think you need to tweak anything to make your membership application process easy.

I will. Thanks. I actually made an account there recently. I recognized some folks from these boards. :D

Your lady friend has good taste in beer. East Coast peoples love their Yuengling.

She sure does. Yuengling Porter is about the only non-micro that I really like. She introduced me to it when we were in Pittsburgh visiting her family.
