Hey there!
Yesterday i happened to stumble on a bargain at work (I work for Toys R Us). They where selling two MR Construction kits at £20 each (roughly $32) so naturally i bought them.
The reason they where so cheap was because they where missing a few parts like the stands etc and one wasn't operating (a wire had been separated from the circuit, i just had to solder it carefully back on) and was being sold for parts.
So i thought, instead of having doubles of all my parts, i may as well try and modify them cosmetically to look different.
In the end this is what i came up with, i think it has a kind of a Qu Rahn saber look to it.
PLEASE note that this is an hours work and is still a work in progress, realistically, i just wanted to see how it would turn out. Im going to most likely sand them down and spray them to get a nicer finish.
And please forgive the low quality photos, i took them on my phone because i cant find my lumix :confused:

Ignore the bit of tape on the pommel, neighbors where giving off about my friends and i having a 1am duel lol
Thoughts on the outcome?
And if anyone else has done this, got any tips?
