I was wondering, are there any costume or lightsaber clubs or groups in the Columbus Ohio area?

I have found nothing as of yet, though still getting a feel for the costuming.

Darth Quin,I have no idea where to begin to look. I figured this would be a good place to start. I'm new to this hobby. I just got a pattern to make a cloak. I'm still working on my first saber. It's almost complete. But I'm glad to see that there is someone here in the Columbus Ohio area, sweet.

Yes it is nice that someone else is in Columbus, I know that there is a member in Marysville and Cincinnati but you are the only other one I know of in Columbus.
I tried to make a basic shirt and tunic for last Halloween and it was fine, but I bought a better set for this year, the robe I may attempt later.

There are definitely costume groups in Columbus, OH:

That's the website for the local chapter of the Rebel Legion in Ohio/Mi, the Midwest Base. I am the new state Captain for the Michigan group. If you have any questions, look up the forums there, and ask away.

Some of the MWB Jedi costumers in Ohio have a choreography group located in Cincinatti, as well:

I haven't completly worked out a costume yet. I was thinking of a sith costume. All I have is a pattern for a cloak. The rest would be a black karate gee top, black breeches from museums replicas limited, and ninja tabee boots. I not sure about the belt. I was thinking about modifiying a weight lifters belt. I should it ready by next Halloween. I'm still working on my first saber.
