belated introduction (by about 7months) here goes nothing

hello everyone at TCSS, i am not a new member ( joined over 6 months ago and have about 50 posts), but i had never formally introduced myself to the forum. I am from Kansas, right smack dab in the middle of the USA. I have been a star wars fan ever since they came out with the original trilogy special edition vhs box set ( i have watched it countless times). I have faithfully read almost everything you could ever need to read on this forum, and thanks to everyone's helpful posts i am about 3/4 of the way done with my first saber. I have already shown progress pics of it in another thread, but i will go ahead and show them again in case anyone doesn't want to look them up. I am a big fan of the original trilogy and KOTOR hilt designs, and that is what inspired me to make a ROTJ vader hilt. I am away at college right now so i cant finish my saber until the end of this semester, but i will be sure to post glory shots of it. The next saber i plan on doing will be a spin off of starkiller's with a red crystal chamber. If anyone would like some intermediate advice or have questions about my builds feel free to ask or pm.

this saber has a green lux 5, and will have a safety green transparent blade when done (chose it because i liked the way it looks when off).
I still need to drill and insert modified the hex bolts, construct the blade, make the switch assembly/clamp band cover, complete custom blade retention screw assembly, and make a one of a kind stand with a light up display crystal. This build has had more challenges and modifications that i originally thought it would, but that just makes it more fun :cool:

Maybe you should have posted your intro earlier, like a few months ago. Sometimes these posts get sort of lost in the shuffle.

Might also be from The Ten Commandments. Doesn't the Pharaoh say that in the version that Charlton Heston is in?

J-Lo is right, i love that movie lol. Im a devoted catholic so i like alot of religious movies, and this one is a classic.:D
