It is powered by 2AAA batteries. The clip holds them, and is removable. Just pull it out and the quick disconnect comes undone. Nice and easy. There is a little 5mm LED in the flash hider. I JB-Welded the barrel together to hide the seam. Also, the barrel liked to fall off with the added weight of the hider. I will eventually weather the hider, but overall I will keep the blaster in more 'pristine' condition.

Cool.

But gee, I wasn't arrogant enough to feel that I needed to start my own thread formy DL-44. :p ;)

The fact that your Mauser was made by a different manufacturer than mine, and that you took all the guts out must be how you got a AA battery pack to fit in the magazine when I couldn't.

Not really liking being able to see the LED when you look at the end of the barrel. I cut my barrel a little shorter so that you can't see my LED as easily.

Why no pics with the LED lit?

Your flash hider does need a little weathering to at least make it look like it's been fired a few times.

I agree with J-lo about the flash hider.
Also think the grips need to be ruffed up just a little.
that's great how you did the battery pack. I'll have to remember that for when I get around to making mine.

Nice work, love the magazine work for the power supply.
