I figured that on the forums there really is not any comprehensive info for Pot's for those of us who know nothing about them. Sure there are a few old hat's here who can answer a few of the more detailed questions, but I figured there should be some introduction so that people at least know what a pot is before asking a bunch of easily answered stuff.
While doing some research on my own i found this article (http://sound.westhost.com/pots.htm) and have gained permission from the author to link to it here on the forums for informational purposes (its copyrighted so I wanted to be sure it was ok :p)
Hope this helps people get at least a basic WHAT THE CRAP IS A POT?!?! question answered if not more.
