The Vindicator II by Rhyen Skytracker

Here is my latest project that I have been working on. This saber has brass rods in the pommel and emitter, it has an economy hasbro sound card with a white CREE LED. It has flat black powder coating with gold paint for the grooves.

Very nice design. I especially like the contrast between black and silver. The brass rods add a look of advanced technology. Aren't creative outlets cool. I was also impressed with your other sabers at DC'09.

Extra nice, I like the detail the brass rods add. Hilt reminds me of the ones used by the Imperial Knights in the Legacy comic series. Nice jobe Wade!

It is an old Jedi saber building trick. You would have to turn to the light side to find out. LOL

I used an indexer to mark the holes and believe it or not, since my mill is not working and I don't have a decent drill press, I drilled the holes with a cordless drill. Marking the holes with the indexer is the key.

I know, it was what was requested though. I would have liked to have put a US 2.5 in it myself.

Hey everyone, I'm new here, finally got around to joining. This is actually my Saber! I designed it and my friend (I think he is Akaius on this board) refined it and it was a birthday gift for me. This saber is beautiful. Right now I have 2 color filters in it to make an Orange color blade that looks really great.

As for the Sound board, that one was put in there for cost. But, maybe sometime soon I'll get a better one. Skytracker does AWESOME work. Akaius has gotten a few made from him and they really are excellent. Hopefully I will be getting more in the future. 8)
