This is my latest saber, just finished it and haven't decided on a name yet.

This saber is all MHS this time, no crazy shrouds like the rest of my sabers. I wanted something that I could swap parts on if I wanted... Tim keeps coming up with new parts :)

-CF v3.1
-P4 Blue
-Recharge in pommel
-No weathering, but I did do some things to make it look a bit 'used'. The whole saber minus the satin black painted portions were sanded with 600 grit to give it a brushed look, I painted the parts and then sanded off what I wanted. On the emitter I did a little carbon scoring as well.

I really liked how this one turned out. Enjoy :)

Thanks guys :)

The accent LEDs are mounted in that 2" double female section, all I did was drill the holes a touch bigger than the LEDs. They are set in place from inside the hilt, the wiring holds them fairly snug in place. I don't 'glue' them in place so I can remove the electronics without having to try and scrape epoxy off every time ;)

EDIT: If you have a project with 16 accent LEDs, you may want to go to Radio Shack and get the little black plastic LED holders/bezels. They are quite cheap but work very well. I prefer the way mine is set up but for 16 you may want to try them.

Thanks for the comments guys :)

To be honest, I am surprised with myself at how much I have been 'playing' with this saber at home... I can't put it down lol ;)

Great looking saber, I really like the MHS grear below the blade holder and above the choke. Nice touch. How did you do the 2 inch part with the leds in it?

That is a 2" DF and a Male/Male adapter, I used some aluminum tubing to make the top plates. The switch plate on the top is secured with 2 4-40 button head screws, the other plates are epoxied on. The whole piece was painted satin black. After the 3rd coat dried I sanded the top plates down to 600 grit. I like the look, it is also a nice area to grip.

There isn't much that you CAN'T do with MHS ;)
