The current setup with 2 li-ions really should only be used with a luxV or other 7.4V range LED setup. If you use this with a lux3,k2,P4 for example then the board will get very hot. I don't know what the lasting effects are on the board if any as the components can withstand very high temps but it makes sense to not provide way more voltage than necessary.
If you have a order pending with a sound combo I can change the 2AA holder for a 4AA holder, just send me a E-mail with your order number. This way you can use 4AA rechargeables or 4AA non rechargeables.
