Looking at this picture of Makotosai's, you can see that the battery pack is identical to the one used in the Obi-wan TPM as well:

That same AAA battery pack (minus the sleeve) is also used in the Yoda.

3 pack from all the vids I have seen. Why reinvent the wheel? Likely the same board components if not an identical board to the Maul.

Actually, the board is not the same. I haven't heard it, so I will assume it is still sith FX, but the actual board looks like this:

Just so it's clear to all the n00bs: The above post is the acceptable form of "necro-posting".
Lesson over.

Hello,
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the above board?

Wire the top wires just like any other newer conversion. Blue+Purple to the positive, all others are negative. The three wires on the bottom are wired like this:

And obviously, where the switch is, you would desolder it and run switch wires from the pads.

Just to add a little data here: The SFX coming from this board are a little peculiar. It has the standard blade ignition sound but uses the sith ignition hiss as the impact sound. The idle hum and swing hums are both lower-pitched than normal.

Where are the transistors on this?

I'd guess they are surface mount transistors on the other side of the board that the pic doesn't show.
