This is my latest personal saber and also my signature design. sithlordfaust helped me design it. The pommel is made out of brass HEX and the grip and emitter are made out of aluminum HEX. It has a US 2.1, a white P4 and a blue anti-vandal switch. It is powder coated with blue/black. I am using LEE filters to change the colors. I am going to repowder coat the grip, it got chipped when I drilled the holes for sound.

That is a handsome saber, indeed! I LOVE the mounting box for the switch. I really think the colour sceme is really well done, as well. Any jedi would be proud to carry that at that their side.

I personally see a Blue or Amber LED accompanying that awesome hilt better than a white one.

I'm assuming the HEX is comfortable to grip?
Great design.

I added a blue colored polyC blade and it looks great with the saber. I rounded off the corners of the HEX and it makes a very comfortable grip

An excellent saber, as usual Rhyen, I just hate to see what happens when someone walks into the pom end while you are showing it off at a Con or the like.

LOL The pommel is not as sharp as it looks it is well rounded. I actually had it pressed into my stomach while doing some of the assembly and no gaping holes yet. LOL Seriously, it is not sharp at all.

Nice work Wade. Great use of the hex stuff. Were you able to use the 3-jaw chuck with that, or did you have to go to a 4-jaw?

Thanks Fender. The 3 jaw chuck worked perfect. Since the HEX has 6 sides the jaws fit on every other side. I don't think the 4 jaw would work too well.

It is a very comfortable grip, I rounded the corners to make them smoother.

 just an FYI... making a 'certain' saber does NOT get you into JSSDC..
