Spamming and rules

Strydur and Xwing, i had a idea(That is why you smell smoke)that when a new member joins the forums that they see a page with the rules and FAQ page before even looking at the forums. that will help the influx of ppl who found the forum first via web searches or links from other sites and i think for ppl who like to spam the should be forced to have this avatar

What a great Idea more message boards should adopt these protocol's and if you want to take it a level further whenever they log in they have to listen to the spam song(ala Monty Python)[:D][:p][}:)]

sounds like a good plan to me too, i try to post only when i have something important to say, some just post about absolutely nothing, so if my vote counted, i would vote to adopt these rules.

Whoever they are...these spam people. We could find out their email address, gang up and spam them until their mailbox locks up. Yeah, Baby! That'd teach em'....ok, I really wouldn't do that. But, I think everyone hates spam, junk mail, and the rude telemarketers.

I believe they are more refering to posting your personal site and/or posting lots of "crap" topics that fill up making it harder for less frequent visitors to read the important topics.
