Double blade saber length

I ma debating on making a double blade maul saber or two twin sabers or a father son matching set. Two questions...

1.) What would be cooler two twin sabers (i have a set now that I am "reconfiguring" with some new parts) a double blades or a father / son (big /little shoto matching set)

2.) What would you all recomend for a length on a double bladed saber. Its hard for me to come up with a good size.

I would go with the shoto just because you don't see a lot of those.
I don't know what to say about length. Just what ever feels comfortable to you.

I have found that if a double saber is about your height it is easier to control.

I think the it is always cooler to have two regualr sized saber on your belt that and couple together than a 24" hilt on one side.:cool:
