This is my latest creation. It has taken me a long time to put this one together, but I think it turned out very well.

Here are the particulars:

Red Lux III
UltraSound 2.1
2 Trustfires
7 MHS parts (including the pommel switch to keep the reverse grip theme)
Graflex red button and glass eye blade holders from TCSS
Custom crystal chamber with accent LED (set to match the blade)
Sinktube (cut)
Some sheet of aluminum I found at the hardware store

Here are the pics:

I hope you all like what I've done with the Starkiller concept. Much thanks go out to the board members for giving me direct advice and for posting awesome inspiration!

It's pretty good, though i'd put some grips on there to break up the shape a little bit.

Nicely done. It gives a nod to the Starkiller, but you put your own unique spin on it. I like it!

Yes! it is a sinktube. Thank you, that was my second attempt at cutting sinktube. Using a better cutting wheel this time, made it easier.

I took a piece of aluminum that I found in the local hardware store, cut out a piece roughly the same size as on my Graflex saber and best it to size/ shape. Then used some JB weld to stick it on.

a very pleasing saber in my opinion. when my starkiller saber project of about 8 months (i ran out of money and access to tools after 2 weeks) is done, hope it looks something as nice as that, all i need to do is cut the shroud out of sinktube, rewire it all, get an accent LED, find out how im gonna attach spacers for my VERY open crystal chamber, make the spacers, maybe weather some of the body, hopefully wire in a hasbro soundboard....

how long did you say yours took to build?:p

Oh, and what kind of jb weld did you use? was it industro weld?

for this sabers i used j-b kwik. Lets see I ordered the parts June 18th... so almost 2 months to finish this saber. Planning, planning, planning, the actual building process was about 3 hours. (not including Tim powder coating the parts)
