Here is a "lightly" weathered Luke ROTJ, but I was not doing a V2, simply a weathered V1. It was also a conversion from a standard UltraFx to a P4 green and an accent LED in the box to light the arrows up. I also added a black card from TCSS. I sanded off all of the diarrhea brown...errrrrr...."copper paint" and repainted with hammered copper enamel, then I broke out a judicious amount of the super-secret-weathering-sauce, sanded the hilt and away I went. The emitter is the only part that is supposed to look burned, the rest is supposed to be "Used-weathered". I really hope I captured what he was looking for because I certainly captured what I envisioned!

Before you go all ape-dookie and start yelling about how Luke's ROTJ saber was not on Mustafar...I KNOW! It is simply a part of my "weathered" series of sabers, "The Mustafar Series";)

Very interesting indeed! I could imagine Luke carrying this in his "elder" years.

dude look at the second picture of the internals it shows it really well (just zoom in) You do need a HO white 5mm LED and a 220Ohm 1/4W resistor.

I think that is what he was going for
