Here is a saber that I just finished, the saber is 11 inches long and hand polished. The hilt is wrapped with real leather with a hand cut and polished overlay. The pommel has the recharge jack with a custom kill pin. The saber has a blue cree led with a pair of 14500 lithium ion batteries. The saber has a 2.0 ultra sound board. The red and green accent leds are functional with the green led lighting when the kill pin is removed and the red led is wired with the main blue led and will flicker with the main led during the lockup and when the blade is set to flicker. The hilt has a covertec button installed. The blade is a 36 inch long Do-Clo thin wall blade.

Awsome!!!! Another checkpoint for do clo. Only 19 billion sabers to go.... Lol. I especially love that emmiter! Is that steel?

I would've use a red illuminated anti-vandal switch...

But besides that it looks great!

Wow that's an awsom finish fore aluminum. Is that the original machined finish or did you polish it?

I'm not sure I understand the switch though...does that whole thing depress? turn? Or is it a cap over a plunger tactile and one just pushes the 'nubbin' in the center?

I really like this design, it's very striking, no pun intended. It reminds me of the experiences I had watching the earlier SW films when I was a child.

The center of the red button is the power switch, there is a tactile switch mounted below the red button.
