Okay, some of you, I doubt many will remember that I came by several months ago asking for people to design a saber for me. Y'all directed me to the nifty flash thing on the main site of this page.

After some tweaking, I came up with this:

I've always loved brass and bronze, particularly bronze. And no, it's not "steampunk"

I came up with a total of $124 but the counter was giving me some weird string message which I don't remember right now but it wasn't a price. I'm hoping the shop can do bronze, maybe give an aged finish.

Any suggestions on the saber?

Are you actually putting your switch at the bottom of the hilt? You can, but if you're using a regular battery pack with alkaline batteries, it's gonna be a pain to change them, since you'll have to unscrew the saber at the top of the main hilt piece to do that.

not actually gonna be any electronics in it. For some reason, I have an aversion to electronics in my models and props unless it's something hand-held with a display like a tricorder or something. But for authenticity's sake, I will put it at the working/business end.

Which is the switch? The one at the top or the one at the side?

The hole in the side near the pommel is the switch hole.

Why are you afraid of electronics? They aren't that scary.

Lightsabers are a lot more fun when the light up. ;)

People like hudge sabers now, not that I'm against it but I think a good sized saber is around twelve inches.

I prefer the 1st one, very Volfe Kaarko.

Also, that second one is quite a beat, I work it out to be around 15". Just wondering why you'd have a switch and a clamp. Also, you have a covertec clip, so why worry about a D-ring?
