I'm just curious about this. Has anyone tried building a double-blade lightsabre that isn't symmetrical?

Symmetry has always struck me as a human trait; a lot of conceptual artists lean away from it to get an "alien" look (for example, the Kilrathi in the Wing Commander series have asymmetrical ships like the Vaktoth). It's even employed in Star Wars ship designs; the YT-1300 Corellian transports, for example. It'd be interesting to see someone's take on this, if someone has done it before.

yeah! i've seen a saber that airsoftmode did that wasn't symmetrical. a long blade on one end and a short blade on the other. is that what you're talking about?

As stated, Airsoftmode built a saber that started out as abroadsaber but ended up as a asymmetrical double bladed saber.

ASM actually beat me to it. I've had my Sis' design for quite a while that was going to be asymetrical, that may be coming in the next order I put in.

Was it just uneven blades, or were hilts included in what you were talking about?

Forum-wise, Drichar Deis' hilt is uneven, with even blades.

In-universe, Shado Vao has a hilt with a hidden emitter in the pommel.
