No. 3 of my ‘reusing of old MR parts’ sabers.

This one comprises of a MR Darth Maul hilt and a MR Luke ROTJ hilt. The Maul hilt was cut in half at the centre grooves and these then became the emitter. The blade holder is a 1.25" Sink tube LED/Blade holder. This fits in with less than 0.5mm of space. But to make sure its secure I used four button head screws . I then drilled through the middle of them to let the led to shine though.

To connect the two parts I used two double ended male threaded connectors and one 2" double female threaded connector. I had to file down the threads on half of the double connectors so they would fit in the maul and Luke parts.

I reused the maul internals and switch like I’ve done before and its turned out pretty cool. There’s about 2” of resonance so it’s really loud.

So, here it is:

-Green Seoul P4 led.
-MR Darth Maul sound board. With original maul internals including the switch and the speaker/battery pack.
-TCSS covertec button

I have one other ‘reusing of old MR parts’ saber to make but I’m waiting on parts for that, needs a maul blade holder!! It’s basically a rearrangement of a single maul saber. Once its done I'll post pics, but don't hold your breath.
