I originally was building this for myself to go with the one i made for my daughter, but the wife suggested i try and raffle it off at Faire to help raise money for the greyhound booth.
So in 2 more weeks it will have found a new home.

I modified some mhs parts (the choke and pommel) and turned the center section myself, added some copper, a MR sound board, and amber lux 3.

That rear grips is interesting. I would have used something like that for an emmiter shroud.

Great colors!

Very, very nice, blade color is a good choice, to bad you have to get rid of it.

Ok, I can't stand it anymore. Where did you get the copper piece on the grip area from? It looks familiar and I just can't place it. Awesome saber and great job.

That copper part, is it another one of those battery hatches? Anyways very slick saber, nice job!

The copper was scrap from a job i was doing at work. I cut, punched, formed, and polished the pieces myself.

I had thought about another battery hatch, but instead i took the threads off the pommel and used a set screw to hold it in place.

It really isn't all that long. All of my sabers average 14.5" with 36" blades. I place the "guts" in very specific locations to balance the saber within the first inch of the blade holder. :)

I've been away for a long time, just watching... this one earned a comment.. very creative, and elegant at the same time. nice work, the overall look has it's own persona to it, as it ages it will only get better and give us all something to work towards. ^^

I love the copper section, are you going to let it weather(patina) or coat it.. i think it would look good **hint** the statue of liberty has that aged copper look(since its copper).. i think the saber would be sick if it ages properly
either way here ya go *****5 stars EXCELLENT WORK
