Dawn's Edge Lightsaber

Hello Again! ;)

Just finished the beauty! This saber was commissioned by Maim on FX. He liked our saber "Fulminaris" and wanted something along those lines. So we went to the drawing board and came up with this! It is based on an MHS hilt heavily modified with lathing, copper and gold powdercoating and our brass overlays. Maim said he wanted some "BLING" so we through it at him in the style of a mid-hilt crystal chamber with natural quartz crystal backlit with an accent LED that matches the bladecolor, 4 blinking accent leds that scroll in random patterns. To top it off we gave the emitter some breathing holes to let the awesomeness out the sides and a lighted anti-vandal switch. We also gave it our overlay treatment with some awesome polished brass to go with all that copper PC.

New round Corbin Driver for LED power
LEDengin 5 watt Amber LED
Amber accent LED for crystal chamber
Natural quartz crystal
4 blinking LEDs
In Hilt Recharge set up with 4.8v Ni-Mh pack and pommel mounted recharge/killport
Premium Speaker in custom mount.

Wow, Fender. Very inspired design. That is truly one of the better lightsabers I've ever seen. It's almost sad that it has been commissioned and it makes me wonder what your personal sabers look like. Kudos to you, man!
