Hey all ive had a look around and cant seem to find anything on what im about to ask.If anyone can give me a link to a thread on it i would be very greatfull. Ive orderd a MHS choke style 3 and was just wondering if the heat sink can sit inbetween the choke and blade holder or do i have to put it between the main body and choke?

Sorry if its a real noob question but its my first saber and we all have to start somewhere eh? lol

if you are talking about the tall heat sink, my guess would be no just to be save. if you are talking about the single layer heat sink that comes with the blade holders, probably. good question though.

if i were you, i'd get the tall one and the short one. if one doesn't fit you could always use it on another project. word

Thanks for the reply Katarn i already have the heat sink that comes with the Screw on LED blade holder style 17 so hopefully that will fit since its the shorter of the 2.

The heat sink that comes with the blade holders will fit in between any led blade holder and any mhs choke in the store.

its brilliant how it all fits together.... the tall heatsink that your talking about is mostly used with sinktubes and stuff. with the MHS you use the copper heatsink that it comes with. MHS inginuity just makes me tingle with awe and brilliance... :p

You can use a heatsink in between any of the MHS pieces. I've used one in between the gear and ribbed section before.

All the pieces have a lip that the heatsink sits on.

personally, I would use the heatsink that comes wth the BH, instead of the tall one to reduce space in your hilt, unless you are going for one of the 2 footers i've seen.
