Cosplay idea

hey strydur or xwing, you think we could have a cosplay section it would be a place where we can talk about our costumes and help with them

oops hit postinstead of preview it would clear up misc topics and general help question wont get lost o easy

I hang here a good bit........very helpful tutotials and cosplay pros and amateurs there....worth checking out.

I don't have the power to create new forums so that'd be up to Tim. It is somewhat related to what you wear your lightsaber with so it's not a bad idea, I'm just not sure it warrants another forum.

Seriously Tim, what would it take for you to offer a Modular Jedi Robe System? Something that is easy to make and basic enough that we can build up our own characters?

I bet we've all been to Wal-mart (searching for greeblies and hasbro sound boards [:D]). If any of you have a pension for sewing there is a pattern you can buy.

LDS, at a big university we have wackies on all sides. I'm pretty sure some would have liked to take my saber to beat the guy. I would have loved being in a robe for them but my Jedi robe was not an essential for bringing to college.

Especially when there are little sources for a good belt. That and Tim could couple the belt with the Covertec clips for a sweet combo!

there are a half dozen members of the Jedi Assembly who are wiling to make belts for those who want them....at reasonable prices too.

i made my own belts. but a designed belt from here would be cool. saber hanger types, buckle types, accessories for the belts, and so on. a really good idea there tim.

yeah, i know what ya mean, the one jedi belt i made has a old army pouch, its stiff so it more squareish. and thats where i slap my spare batteries and keys and money when troopin to the cons.

I pretty much bite the bullet and spent the money for the 3 Main Pouches made of leather since I didn't want to deal with the resin ones plus these are more funcional and hold more. I also found the tall Rots Annikan Pouch and my source will soon have the Obiwan Pouch only seen in one brief frame of ROTS. But I am still using my black Ren Faire Battle Belt with the Buckle turned to the back for now.[:)]

Not sure about what your source is.. but what's the cost and availablility... I am curious for when I get working again and can begin to gather pieces for my Jedi Gear.
