What can I use to get them off cleanly? I can't even get a micrometer in there to measure them. What size are they? 5/32 and 4mm sockets on them and I can't find a nut driver that is deep enough.

I have a set of small nut drivers which work fine for them. They are like those small screw drivers Radio Shack used to sell a complete small tool kit.

Radio Shack was where I got the nut drivers that were too shallow. Maybe they sell a different set online or have a better selection online than in the stores...

You want to make sure you buy hollow shaft nutdrivers. If you can't find them locally try jensentools.com they have a great selection in there telecom/data tools.

Sorry about doubling up back there...that site brings me to a Stanley Tool site. There have Jensen Tools, but there's no specific link for telecom/data tools and all their nutdrivers are too large. Looking for a hollow shaft helps though...

Stanley has pretty much owned jensen and contact east for a while, I reckon that they finally merged it all together. You're at the right spot though and searching should get you what you need.

The set I have is an older set that I have had for a long time so I guess Radio Shack improved theirs, big shock.

Okay. One last question, then I'll leave you guys alone. I promise. What size are they? I'll take a chance on a single driver through the mail but I'm not going to order an entire set where I won't use 11 out of 12 of them.

I will have to check when I get home tonight and I will post the size you need

i used needle nose pliers, worked just fine, i used a pice of cloth and grabbed the head part of pin and broke it loose, then unscrewed it with my fingers.
