Ive gotten everything ready for my graflex hilt, but for the life of me, I cant find a good place for the switch. Of course, I want to use the red button, but I cant seem to find a way to use it. Can you guys post some of your picks of your graflex power on switches for me?

I was going to use a switch from AllElectronics.com but I am sure that radio shack has something similar.

are you using a hasbro board to run the lux? if so i got a mini micro tactile switch and placed that under my red button on my real graflex i converted to luxeon. it works just fine, and the top red button is functional as it turn the saber on that way. i also used a red button thumbscrew in the glass eye spot for blade tension holder. its the esb luke saber. look in the pics section and you will see mine if you wish.

that is the switch i used on mine. you have to bend the leads up and cover them with tape to prevent a short. but it fit under the top red button on mine, and is hooked up to a hasbro board running the luxeon. works fine. and those are pretty cheap too.

but with tims new holder, the switch hookup will be lots easier to run. you can still use the same momentary switch under red button too. easier to run the wires back with that large slotted area there.

Hi all
I actually have functional Grafex red buttons that have been modified with a DPDT mini switch. They come in either latching or momentary, depending on what type of driver/soundboard you're using. You just thread the wires into the saber and screw the bezel down just like the regular Graflex red buttons.
The switches sell for $15.00 delivered within the U.S.

Email me if interested.

Hello Corbin good to see you back here, I hope you don't mind that I go ahead an post the pic's since I have one of your switches sitting here. Also I still haven't had a chance to install it yet so you can see the bottom as well, now my switch is a Locking one since I am using a 2 Switch setup and this is the Master Power one, but I am sure Corbin can also set you up with a Momentary one as well. I have gone ahead and bent the pins flat since I am very tight on space in my Hilt and I only need 2 of the connections but trust me this is a lot easyer than trying to build one yourself that is what I did for my first one, what a pain in the neck.

hmm. that looks interesting. i used that long lead switch from allelectronics. it worked just fine. and the original buttons bottom part pushes down on button. i only had to adjust it by a piece of foam to get the spacing right.
