Haven't posted in a while and I've put this project off for far too long. So last weekend, yesterday, I've finally finished it. My very own MHS/hardware TFU lightsaber.

Red 3W LED
Hasbro Ultimate lightsaber soundboard (Luke's sound)
Tiny switch in grip
Sinktube graflex upper grip
Radioshacked graflex button
Thumb screw blade retention

Originally, there was an activation box looking thing in place of the rubber T-grip but that seemed to hurt my hand. So I switched for something more comfortable.

Is that a graflex part where the emmiter is? Or did u make it yourself?

Looks like he made it, to me.

To my eye it looks like a Starkiller saber would look if it was a more streamlined 'finished' looking saber like those built before Order 66...I rather like it!

Yes, I used a sinktube for the graflex part and I cut the fins out of aluminum sheet metal. The red button is actually from the Ultimate lightsaber toy and I got the surrounding knurled part from Radio shack.

Cool looking saber, haven't heard anybody or seen anybody make Marek's lightsaber out of some hardware supply.

It just looks like the kind of saber you'd fight with. It has a real, no nonsense look of a fighter.

I do like it, and you are right... it looks more like a usable weapon than the one with the exposed crystal chamber. Don't get me wrong, I have seen some ridiculously cool sabers made with the exposed chamber, but this one just makes me wanna mess some dudes up.

Interesting. I personally prefer the ones with the exposed crystal, but it's still pretty nifty! Good job dude!!

I would dirty it up just a bit, IMHO it looks just too clean....

Agreed, awesome job, and weathering would look awesome.
But it does look great while it's pristine!

Thanks guys. I may just go do the weathering, but it'll be the first time.

Good job, man. Thank you for sharing your lightsaber with us. Good luck on making more sabers in the future!

I gotta agree that it could stand weathering, I like the look of the exposed crystal for show, but it's a ludicrous design for usability, this is a nice use of the lines to make a 'realistic' design.

I actually like the desig without the crystal chamber...it seems it would be easier to grip.
