These are a couple of the things that I find are the down side to being a Star Wars fan.

Star Wars Lego on e-bay. Type in lightsabers, or "star wars blaster" to see whats out there and you get twenty odd pages of listings, take out the lego and you are left with six pages, take out the Wii lightsabers and you are left with one page of relavent stuff. IF I WANTED BLOODY LEGO I WOULD SEARCH FOR LEGGO!!!!!!!

Stupid and unrealistic prices on e-bay for anything Star wars related. you know the type of thing. $500 for a Force FX. All seem to be listed as RARE while twenty other people are selling that same RARE item listed on the very page below them. JUST CAUSE IT'S STAR WARS DOES NOT MAKE IT WORTH A FORTUNE!!!!!!!!!

Try typing in just "star wars fx lightsaber" to get mostly HasbroFX and MR FX sabers.

Try typing in just "star wars lightsaber" and everything from Lego to Hasbro cheapies, custom and HasbroFX and MR FX show up.

Don't know why you ground your gears?

In ebay search, if you use a hypen/dash before a word (no space), it will omit any items that use that word in their title. For example, when I search for custom lightsabers I use...

custom lightsaber -lego

Occasionally this will still bring up a lego item or three but no more than that.

Yes, I know I rule. [Eric Cartman]Who wants to touch me?[/Eric Cartman] ;)

I've stopped shopping on ebay for anything more than components. I hate the prices, and all the overpriced FX sabers. For those sorts of prices, you may as well buy straight from Forbidden planet!!!!!

...Or hope some of your friends in the US will let you know when they have afew FX soundboards that they'll sent you for a reasonable price....;)

I dunno about that. I got a full TCSS saber and basic electronics for £50.00

But yeah people selling lego lightsabers for a quid or whatever, what's that about?

Well, I was lucky with an MHS about 2yrs ago on there, though the hilt & electronics were seperate auctions. That was 2yrs ago though...

I agree on the F/X sabers. That is why I have yet to have a MR board...

Craigslist is the way to go!!!!

No, being genuine. Never used it. A bit like gumtree, but with less australians.

Also, the search function wasn't working, so will try again later.
