Hello everyone!

Here is a pair of sabers fresh from the shop. They were commissioned by guys from the NJ Jedi group that wanted a congruent set of sabers. These are 2 out of 4 total that were commissioned with the other 2 being variants and are not completed yet. They sent us a design to work with and we brought it to life in true Vader's Vault style! 8)

The Specs:

MHS based hilts with aluminum shroud work on the lower grip section and the emiter.
Genuine Leather in the diamond cutouts
Corbins Shrink wrap grip technique was used in the middle (works great, but its not as easy as it looks to get right)

Saber 1 has US 2.0 (non upgraded so it still has all the great original features but thankfully none of the bugs) and is ignited by a Seoul P4 white through and Ultraedge blade. 7.4v Li-Ion battery pack and recharge system installed with charge/kill port in the pommel. The mini momentary switch is recessed under the leather so that the button shaft barely protrudes from the leather.

Saber 2 is a stunt that has a Lux III Cyan bin 1 ignited through a 32" Vader's Vault standard dual diffused blade. 4.8v Ni-Mh battery pack and recharge system installed with charge/killport in pommel. The mini slider is recessed under the leather for a nice low profile look.

How in the world did you get those diamond cut out with the sharp corners like that??:cool:

That must have been a pain in the neck!!!;)

You have no idea! This was an all around difficult build. The diamonds were tough, the leather inlays very tough, and the Corbin heatshrink method was a nightmare. But at the end, it was worth it. These things are absolutely gorgeous in person:cool:

As the one largely responsible for the design I just had to give a huge thanks to Fenderbender for the work he did, my friends love these bad boys, and I can't wait for my varients.

Oh yeah, first post from a long time lurker :)

Those are really really nice, great job. I hope to be able to produce quality like that someday.
