I had to do something for myself and this is it and it is "feature-laden". I was wondering how many accent LEDs I could run with an US 2.1...well 8 total LEDs is not too many apparently...New things on this build, other than the 8 LEDs, include a removable pommel with detailed crystal pommel crystal chamber and mirrored holes on both sides of the choke for the reverse sound and a reverse sound dual-resonance chamber with LEDs in both sides. It is long and it is shiny, blinky and 1 ton of cool!

The Specifics:

MHS parts
LDM powdercoating
MPP replica clamp from TCSS
Recharge/kill in pommel
Pommel Crystal chamber (acrylic crystal)
Blinkified bubble strip
Ultrasound 2.1 from TCSS
7.4V 950mAh battery solution
HO speaker
Luxeon V BIN3 Cyan LED
8 accent LEDs (5mm) including 2 BG blinkers
long-post tactile switch in MPP clamp (from TCSS)

Love the hilt. The electronic setup is amazing. I'm going to consider mounting my switch the same way you did yours instead of feeding it though a bubble strip hole. You couldn't have posted this at a better time.

And that, my friends, is why I post!

beautiful work as usual LDM. I love checking the board to see what new saber you have built or worked on.

I hate you LDM... but only because I'm jealous of your electronics capabilities.

Seriously though, awesome work.

Awesome saber. This has been my favorite episode of black mat TV so far. Can't wait to see the next episode. Great job.

That's dangerously close to one of my designs....I think I may have to look into patent infringement. Expect to hear from my lawyer!

Seriously though, very nice work, now I have to step up my game on mine!

ooooooohh.... *drools* Pretty lights...
I think you've been staring at my renders too long, what with the accent lighting in the choke. But I don't mind. that lets me know that the idea worked, so thanks for that ^_^ I love the blinkies and everything. keep it up and when I can afford my next custom, I'll give you a challenge :P

Thanks guys & gals, ARKM...LOL (and Thankyou VERY much! ), I have really concentrated on the internal side for the last year or so because I saw it as an under-represented area of detail in most builds. My sabers look as good or better on the inside as they do on the outside and that is by design (and due to my type A personality---I can't stand MESSY wiring!) Anyone can learn the things that I do (I post or have detailed build pictures of EVERY build) and I am happy to help folks with advanced questions. Ask Tradliphine, we did his graflex via PM and it worked out great! Anyways, thanks again everyone!
