ive read alot on the force action lightsabers and a couple of other ones.
now i want to know which is the best sound board?

They are all good according to cheapy sound board standards, it all depends on what sounds you like because they all have different sounds.

Yeah, it's kind of subjective, not everyone likes the same sounds.

Try looking through the gallery threads to see if there are any videos of people using some of the economy sound boards so you can hear them. Rhyen Skytracker and airsoftmode use them, go find their vids, to start with.

stay away from the old Ultamate lightsaber kit sound board. uuugh. pain to wire, and really crappy sound. i tried wiring mine and i was like :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: . plus it never sounded good to begin with

i had one of those. sounded great... untill it broke. appearently they dont like getting ran over by cars

I personally like the 1999 qui-gonn the best. (a nice deep VROOOOOOOMMMM!!!)

One plus about the force action is they can handle up to 6 volts. The older ones can only handle 4.5 MAX

Thought: We need a sticky thread in this forum about this question...
and I think a general write up saying that its up to the end user to decided, and maybe link a couple of the more useful threads to reviewed boards.

That and perhaps include a poll for the known sound boards so that people can get an idea of what others seem to like best.
