has anybody ever thought of making a light whip?.....

i thought this could be a cool idea even though it would be a complete pain in the butt to light up all the way unless you used EL wiring.... now as for the "blade" we're talking about completely new material here... anybody have any creative ideas?

i had one involving rubber like tubing that so happened to come together at the end, or have a shoulder tip at the end or even a bullet tip end and have several long strands of EL wiring in it... but wouldn't that require a lot of power? not to mention a completely new and creative sound font (hint hint for new project Novastar :cool:)

Old. There's several topics about this already.

People have tried. El wire is too light weight to be an effective whip, & not that bright.

You can get stage leads that illuminate, but you're more likely to hurt yourself or get the little kid that wanders too close in the eye...

Impractical, and most of all Dangerous.
