Hey everybody!

We just finished this beauty! It is MHS based, with heavy influence drawn from the Mace Windu saber. As stated it is of course powered by none other than Erv's masterpiece the Crystal Focus v4.1!


THE MORNING STAR

Here's the specs:

Custom lathed and milled MHS based hilt
Custom emitter
Double layer overlays with 1st layer powdercoated in gloss black and the 2nd layer in polished brass
Neoprene grip strips inlaid in custom milled flutes
Textured grip pad
Low profile activation box with lighted antivandal switch, aux switch, and recharge port
Crystal chamber with mixed accent LEDs to match blade color and hand selected Quartz crystal
Crystal Focus v4.1
Luxeon V Cyan bin 2 ( thanks LDM!)
7.2v Li-Ion battery pack
Custom chassis
4 super bright 3mm accent LEDs recessed under the overlays

I rarely offer compliments, but this saber has inspired me to hit the sketchbooks. Beautiful work Fender.

That is one of the best sabers I have ever seen and possibly the best MHS mod yet. Awesome job.

I'm not too keen on the rubber grip pad, but I love the rest of it.

I couldn't keep my eyes off the blinky LEDs in the video. :p

looks awsome. i think the rubber grip needs to be a little thinner but other than that. i love the origenality in your saber designs no two are ever the same and they all look great. awsome work.

I'm not to sure about the textured grip either but the rest of the saber is excellent.

As far as machinery, I have a Leblond Regal lathe from like 1912, seriously. It's huge:eek: My mill is a Jet-16. I love it!
