Hi All,

My kid and I went back to our "workshop" to craft a new PVC saber. Since our first was more Sith-like (http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?t=8214), we made a Jedi saber this time.

Overall this new hobby is great fun. We will be moving on to a sink tube saber soon...

Specifics:

Lux1 Green LED
Copper end cap as heatsink
Electrical Conduit PVC for the body, standard PVC end cap
Hammered Finish paint job
30" (exposed) Poly-C Blade 4' of cello wrap inside
Black O-rings
TCSS guarded switch

Very nice!
Must've been interesting getting a guarded switch in a tiny PVC tube.

It was a pain! but not so bad once I bought a long flat head screw driver and dipped it multiple times in plastidip to rubberize the tip. Using this tool helps me turn the little nut effectively in the cramped tube. ;)

An easier way to install those switches in a pvc saber is to drill a 7/16th hole and force the switch in.

nice job on that pvc saber, BTW! The paint still looks wet in those pictures!
