I went to this last year, and it was a lot of fun. If anyone is within driving distance of Toronto, it's well worth going.

If you know you are going for sure, buy your ticket online. They're available now. They have those ones you just print yourself. If you have to wait in line to get tickets, you'll be waiting over an hour.

thanks for the info, ill get my tickets online then in the next week or so, i booked my vacation for that thursday friday, and the following monday tuesday and wensday.

I'm still working out where we are going to stay. I'll let you know what I find. We could probably just meet at the expo at a certain time and place. If you're interested, the CN Tower is a stone's throw away from the convention center. Maybe we could check that out too.

Not yet. I was away on vacation all last week. I just picked up my paycheck yesterday, and as soon as I deposit it, I'll be getting the tickets. I still haven't figured out where we are going to stay either. I'd better get on that.

We're coming down Friday and staying over with friends. The doors open at 11:00 Saturday, and since we're in the city already, we'll be there. There's a Q&A session with Leonard Nimoy at 11:30 that I want to catch.

yup got our tickets, we got the delux passes. were prob gonna get there around 5 on friday im hoping, check into a hotel and then head over to the expo since its going to be open 5 on friday. the q and a with lenord sounds awesome, i really want to get his autograph as well

We had a great time. Leonard Nimoy was awesome! I got most of his Q&A session on video, and I'll put it on YouTube.

As far as I could tell, Pipster and I were the only people there with custom sabers, and they seemed to draw a lot of attention. His Dark Avenger is very nice. I must have told a hundred people about The Custom Saber Shop and the MHS. (Do I get a commission, Tim?) ;)

This afternoon, we went to the Royal Ontario Museum. They have the Dead Sea Scrolls on exhibit right now. Pretty cool to see 2000 year old copies of the Old Testament, written by hand on papyrus. Unfortunately, they don't allow you to photograph them, so I have no photos to share.

wow. what a awesome time. i was suprised at how few jedi there were there.
ive never had my picture taken so many times in one day lol, i must have had at least 40 random people or so ask for pictures. then when we met up with obi dar and that other jedi we had tons of people taking photos :)

the fiance took a good one of me getting an autograph from lenord nimoy...i cant beleive i was less then 2 feet away from him. ive never been so close to someone famous. for that matter ive never been in the same place even as someone famous lol.
wanted to get bruce campbells autograph but they sold his tickets out by 1pm saturday. had i known they were selling tickets ahead of time i would have bought one...oh well mayb someday ill get it.
anyhow im off to my moms to show her the pics of our trip we got some good shots at niagara falls..we left the convention sat and went straight there, and just got back half hour ago.
