Let me be the 1st to say welcome to the best place in town. 2nd before you start getting "FLAMED", yes you can and there are tons of tutorials in these forums for you to read 1st.

Do yourself a favor and read, read, read before asking such a common already answered question.

The search function is your friend. If you can't find the answer there , then by all means , go ahead and ask.

Other than that, relax and enjoy.

This question shows that you have not done much reading yet. Please do so.

Lots and lots of reading.

Yes, use a Husqvarna 16" Chainsaw and cut long ways down the hilt.

:p

There are disassembly instructions here

I prefer the STIHL 880 Mugnum w/ a 59" bar. For those big saber builds.

Dude, just a screwdriver and maybe a knife blade.

Are you kidding?!? The best way to do it is using a laser!:D (sorry couldn't resist...)

Seriously, read. Then after you do that, read some more. After you think you've read enough learn to use the search function. Almost every question regarding MRs have been answered.;)

Welcome to the club.

I thought the best way to remove one was to use another lightsaber.

is it posable to take the MR sound board out of a FX saber?

Yes. It's quite simple if you use the Force. A bit more complicated with the sonic screwdriver but it's still doable. PM me for details.
