So this is the parts list of what i'd like to build. This will be my first build btw.

http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Double-threaded-hilt-style-2-P101.aspx
http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MPS-Pommel-style-7-P386.aspx
http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MHS-choke-style-1-short-P317.aspx (body to blade holder)
http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Screw-on-LED-blade-holder-style-8--P188.aspx
http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MPS-Insert-style-6-P263.aspx
http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Build-Your-Ownbr-Luxeon-III-Seoul-P4-Electronics-Kit-P6.aspx

Then a 1" tcss battle blade (or the individual parts to make it) and d clip stuff and black o rings for the main body.

Am i missing anything? Or will that do everything?

Oh also, i've seen mention of MSH blade holder claws, i havent found anything on the site, whats the go with these or are they just a rendering thing.

Well i have read, i just dont want to order everything and then find out i've missed something.

Ok this is the parts list

Hilt style 2
pommel style 7
choke style 1
LED blade holder 8
MPS insert style 8
SPST Latching Guarded switch with red button (yes i know it wont fit in the standard hole)
And then the seoul p4 green LED im thinking.

I don't think this switch will fit into the switch hole in the hilt section you selected. I think those switches are for the "box style #4." Read the product description below the switch picture.

However, I might be wrong.

Ah, changed, ill just go the guarded red switch. $US30 is a bit too much just too add a bit more of a cool look. I guess if all else fails a switch comes with the LED kit.

Sorry, I thought I saw this switch on tour list.

You did, i edited it out to stop confusion with people. I really do like that switch though.

Actually i've just been looking at the store and alot of stuff seems to be out of stock. How long does it usually take to restock?

EDIT: just found it in the store questions, 3 weeks max

As long as i get the hilt that has the predrilled hole for the guarded switch are there any other services i need done?

I don't see an MPS clip on your list, you'll need something to hold the insert in your pommel. You will also need a thumb screw or set screw for a blade retention screw.

You'll need a hole drilled and threaded in the blade holser for a blade retention screw, if you don't want to do it yourself. And if you're going to use a D-ring or a Covertec button, that will also need a threaded hole for the screw you'll use. You can have Tim do those, if you tell him where you want them.

Yeah i knew about the switch, it looks like you can buy ones predrilled? Not sure but either way i can do it. Alright so the final list is

Hilt style 2
pommel style 7
choke style 1
LED blade holder 8
MPS insert style 8
SPST Latching Guarded switch with red button
And then the seoul p4 green LED kit
TCSS Battle blade (whether i make it myself or buy a premade one when they are back in stock)
MPS clip
And a D-clip and the belt thing.

That do it all? No MHS to 1" blade adapters or anything? If i have to make the blade i guess its the difuser, tube and tip. Might change some models but just making sure i'm not missing anything.

It looks like some of the Main Bodies are out of stock, because I think Tim's offering both with holes for the "regular" switch and the guarded switch.

I don't see any kind of blade retention screw, unless you already have something you want to use for that. And you'll need a screw, or screws, for your D-ring.

Screws, check, easy, any drilling or anything like that required (obviously i will for the d clip but what about the blade retention screw?). Thanks heaps for your help. Actually what sort of screw do i need for the blade retention one.

Sorry i missed that one.

Thanks heaps for all your help!

Sorry to pound with questions but will blade holder 17 (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Screw-on-LED-blade-holder-style-17-P417.aspx) hold a blade well, it doesnt look like it has much to hold the blade in.

But thanks heaps for your help, i knew i would of missed something if i didnt ask.

I don't have any experience with that blade holder, but I can see why you ask that question. You'd have to have the blade retention screw on the short side, obviously.

I'll play it safe and go with 12. Thanks heaps for all your help, it's much appreciated.

First, don't worry about missing something with an order. It's gonna happen. Don't worry about putting things together and then realizing you don't like it or it's not quite functional. It's gonna happen. My input on any of the MHS products is that the owner of the store puts his parts together well. You don't have to worry about bad workmanship or poorly functioning pieces coming from Tim. He's been in the business for a while now and I'd bet a paycheck that he puts his stuff through the test before releasing them to us.
