Has anyone made any props for their costumes, if so please share info n pix.

Not yet. I've got an old Gillette Ladies Sensor Excell Razor Handle (I actually used to use these back in the '90's, so I recognized them right away) to make a comm link, and various bits to add to it, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

A lot of people don't know that there was a hard version of this razor that didn't have the rubbery grips. I had both versions, but don't know what happened to the rubber gripped ones. The hard one will be easier to paint, anyway.

I plan to use these extra pins from a couple of universal windshield wiper replacement kits for the "antennae".

I've disassembled the razor since these pics.

I also want to make some sort of custom holoprojector, also have a few parts collected for that, but haven't made it.

I'm not interested in a grappling hook or an aqua breather. I'd either need more pouches, or not carry the real stuff I need when I'm in costume.

I also have an acrylic baseball cube that I want to make a holocron out of, when I figure out how I want to do it.

well, this aint a tutorial or anything, but a good reference from a "hook" that was used in ep. 1 even though the scene was cut

looks like it could be quite simple to replicate.

did'nt really search everywhere, i know there are tutorials for this sort of thing around.

food capsials are made from a steadler liqiud roller pen lid with a rubber cap on the end. you will find that on the partsofsw web site.

anything from the new trilogy is going to be harder to replicate as lot of it was custome made. is there any thing in particular you want to know about?

I made a set of the pen cap food capsules, but I used a slightly different but close enough set of pens from the dollar store. I also made some half-way decent pouches by gluing leather on to neoprene cell phone holders. You can see both in this picture of me at a con last year. (Don't look too closely at my non-canon cargo pants. I've since got better ones.) I also started a razor communicator, but I haven't finished it yet.

I'll shoot some better pictures tomorrow.

heres a comunicator i made. its loosely based on the comunicators used in the clone wars animated series.

it was a small radio, i drilled more holes in it, painted it black, and added blue gel and black backing for extra prettyness! erm i mean manly gud looks....lol

my belt is 99% finished, just waiting for the wife n kids to wake up before i start hammering in the rivets. cool!

Hey folks! i found this grapple hook pouch pic in one of the visual dictionaries.
I think the hook looks like a key ring clip, but not sure.

anyone else have any ideas what it is or waht any other parts are?
