I've notice that quite a few people use o-rings on their custom sabers. Now, are people actually gluing them in place, or are you just having them rest there? Thanks, and I appologize for the rather newbie question.

Either way, I normally just have them sit there but I also tend to rough or grove where I want it to stay. I have a few I have glued but you have to make sure you rough it or the darn things come loose anyway.

better off grooving the slots for them to ride in.

I use 3M plastic adhesive or contact cement. If you can notch a grove that does work the best though.

Where there wasn't a groove I just used a dab of Silicone RTV.[:)]
