View Full Version : Need help with using forum.

Since I am new here, I have yet to figure out some of the ways to use this forum. For instance, are there certain levels of usage as to what you can do in the forums. I can't seem to figure out how to sent someone a visitor's message to their profile page. I'm also having trouble with posting a pic in my signature. Am I limited somehow as to what I can do in the forum?

Ah, you know what, that could be your signature problem. Tim (the Admin and owner) has new users set with restrictions. They can't send personal messages, view the shoutbox, or, so it seems, post pictures in their signature.

i'm pretty new. even though i have been doing this stuff for a long time now hehe. i can see the shout box but i can't send PM's and i haven't tried putting a pic on my signature (mostly because i haven't finished my latest saber) but whatever ::rolleyes:

Crap! Crap! Crap! I have actually been reading the forum since January to get info on how to build my saber. I was never really into forums or blogs or chatting on the internet. The only thing that drew me to join this forum was the people with my same interests. I discovered that this forum is actually fun. Does anyone know when Tim lifts those restrictions?

Hmm, yeah I forgot he said he was going to do that.

Did he say if it was total time on the forum or Date registered or post number that changes it? I don't remember.

Thats cool. I'll just wait my turn. After all, a Jedi must be patient. However, I am on my 2nd saber. Does that help? Ha Ha!!!
