I got started on this line of thinking, mainly because I live in Canada, and between higher shipping costs and customs fees, I don't order from TCSS every time I want (when cool new parts get in), and I try to wait to combine orders (and shipping costs).

Is it possible to get some sort of stock status indicator included with the various parts?[?]

Two times now, I have waited too long, and by the time I'm ready, or another part gets back in stock, another part goes out. I'd like to have a better idea how much time I have to place my order, without having to wait weeks or months more.

This is the great problem in retail sales how much to stock and when. The customer does not always follow any patterns when buying stuff which makes it hard to figure out how many of a item to stock and when to re-order it. If Tim were to say that he had 20 of an item left one morning he could be sold out by lunch or that amount could last a week depending on demand at the the time. I know it can be fustrating when you have your order together and an item you need is out of stock but Tim tries his best to keep his store well stocked and to keep us all happy. I have been on the other side of the retail sales counter for a long time, and I will say this Tim you are doing a great job, keep it up.

You could try and ask Tim to hold off on shipping the item you ordered until you get to add ALL the items you want to the order....just a thought...

Oh, I thought of that a while ago. Wanted to try this avenue first.
