well i know i havn't posted much...well it is because i am trying to learn as much about this hobby as i can and to desperatly avoid asking a question that will get me flamed lol. but while i am doing my research i am also redoing my costume. here is what i have so far...well it's only the belt. i did have a more traditional one but i am going more expanded universe now.

once i sell my Batman Costume i will be getting a pair of boots from motorcowboy.com and then work on a bigger cloak and my light saber.

Made them. I got sick of carrying batteries around in my pocket at cons, not only that but do you know what happens when you touch both the + - side of a 9V with a set of keys...it creates a short circuit and they get hot...really HOT. So as they say necessity is the mother of invention.

will you be putting a application into The Jedi collective with it, once the sites all up and running?

Love that belt!!!

If you can find a decent template for the pattern on the tabbards (should you go that way with it) then share the wealth!!!

Get that Parks lux'ed up & you're laughing!!!

You know I"m really liking the middle design. I've seen those before but I think I've found some inspiration. Thanks!

That's not the belt your brother showed me the other day when we were chatting on MSN. :p

This one is nicer. ;)

Jedi-Loreen lol I have changed it a bit. I wasn't sure if the design I was using was a custom design by another fan or not and I didn't want to tread on any toes.

Barmic Rin I do have every intention of going that way, I am planning on using a cheese cloth or something natural like that and then my be a poly cotton for the trim at the bottom front edge. I am thinking I might need to make my own pattern but we will see how we go.

Jaiden Teed to be honest I haven’t heard of the Jedi collective. is it something new starting up? I might do. I really want to source other costumes and props for my friends so if it will help me in my networking I might be up for it. plus I don't mine making this sort of thing for others should they need a hand.

Darth Leximus glad i could be of some help.

thanks for the comments guys/gals. I will keep you posted on the rest of the costume as it comes along.

there is a thread within this forum, explaining the The Jedi collective (TJC) its called New Jedi Order (non-canon costuming group) or something along those lines.

a couple of us have gotten together to get the ball rolling, its going to specialise in what the title says. a costuming group for those whose costumes don't meet the "canon" requirements that other groups want, if you know what i mean! If you have a read through the thread it'll explain whats going on, and later on in the topic, you will find what are going to be the member requirements once the site is up and running!
