Hi, the first post always seems to be the harder one. not sure it ever gets easyer.

first and formost i love the fact this forum has a spell checker lol....yeah i'm a shocking speller at times.

the work you guys have done with your sabers is nothing short of amazing. here i was 8 months ago making mine out of aluminium rod. sure they do the job but they just didn't have the KICK that other custome sabers have.

that being said my sabers were only ever made for the inention of fan film making and hard core combat.

here is a couple of pics...we all like pics don't we;)

i curently own a Parks saber and have every intention of building my own MHS saber. i have been reading all the how to threads for the last 5 days....it hurts...my brain that is:p

My brother and a group of mates are into film making and to date have only made a trailer for our fan film. It is called Star Wars Evil Blood. it is on youtube if you would like to take a look.

i hope this isn't to much for a first post. oh and the a in Coral is dragged out:wink:

Welcome Coral! I really like the first and second sabers you posted. What are the grips made of? I'll check out the trailer when I get a chance!

The grip on the first one is simple cricket bat grip.

the grip on the group of three is made of high density foam. you should be able to find it at most craft or hard ware stores.

thanks for the welcome:cool:

Welcome!!!!

Just checked the fanfilm & I love those funky spins of the camera and weird camera changes. May steal that sort of shot for my fanfilm...

Oh, and LED sabers aren't too bad, especially if you follow J-Los links!!!

Welcome to the Forums, I like your stunt sabers.

The Forum has Spellcheck? Are you using it? :p I have Spellcheck on my Firefox Browser.

I have a Parks Fusion, but I did some things to personalize it so it wouldn't look exactly like every other one out there.

I replaced the flat, black Covertec knob with a dished out clear anodized aluminum one, and changed the brass blade retention and pommel screws for stainless steel.

Then I added some black pin striping to the grip area.

Welcome Jedi Coral. I saw your fan film and it is awesome. Glad to have another Jedi here, the Sith were starting to outnumber us. You have to be careful, they will try to turn you to the dark side with cookies. lol

That's the great thing about being a Dark Jedi. You can eat the cookies and not have do what they say.;)
