Here we are again...LDM has made a new saber. This one is Dremel-fu'd from a brass tube.

The particulars:

Luxeon III BIN1 Cyan
Aqua and Violet accent LEDs embedded in the choke, under the shroud
Violet crystal pommel
MR Jedi sound
Ramp effect starting at crystal pommel
Brass mesh grip underlay
Steel grips
100% custom "gear" pommel
Brass Covertec
gold anodized kill key
Kill/recharge
7.2V Li-ion
6V regulator
TCSS HO speaker
LDM flat black Powder Coat

epoxied and shrinkwrapped to a piece of aluminum tube inside the gear. Thanks BTW.;)

Wow that looks very nice. I'd love to see a wiring diagram, especially how you hooked up the accents to the MR board.

did that saber come from Uranus? HAHAH. Just kidding man it looks really cool. I like the glowing blue from the rear gear pommel a lot.

Ooooh, pretty.
I really like the overlay shaping you did, and the custom pommel is awesome.

Where is your speaker placement in this one? From your breakdown shots, I can't tell if it's behind the pommel crystal or if it's somewhere forward.

Thanks guys, the pommel is a "found" part that I made into a pommel.

The speaker on this one is in a traditional orientation (it is inside the PVC resonance chamber attached to the battery pack/soundboard module)

as far as a wiring diagram...that is WHY the build pix were included (they show it in pretty nice detail):rolleyes:

Hey LDM, don't sell yourself short! Your design sensibilities are very good! I was actually thinking of something kinda like what you did with the shroud by the choke where the LED light kinda reflects off of the inner shroud near the choke.
