Will a buck puck power a K2 LED? and what power source is best used for this?

The search button isn't very friendly for "K2"

people have tried using 2 700 mA buckpucks to generate close to 1400mA... I think you can probably search for "1400" to look for that thread.
Other than that, you can regularly drive it at 1000mA with a buckpuck.
Or you can go the ultrasound route, but that's pretty darn expensive.
I've actually got a green one running directly off of a cheapo hasbro board being powered by 4.5V (3AA) - it's the one in my sig pic. No resistor. Has been ok so far.
