So on the home page it says Ultrasound is in stock but when i go to purchase it, there are none in stock. Just wondering if im retarded or what... I have seen that 2.1 is coming out so i would assume that we are waiting for those but the home page threw me.

Tim has sent his stock of the 2.0 back to be upgraded to 2.1's...they should be back in stock in a few weeks.

Greetings all,

Still no stock on the US 2.1s, hmmm... At least, that's what the online store says. Is this actually the case? I read that there was an expectation of having the upgraded 2.0 boards back in-house by now. Does anyone have good intel in this, please?

This is from Jango Fett over at FX Saber boards.

"I just got off the phone with Alex and I have an update.

About 300-350 boards were sent in for the upgrades http://fx-sabers.com/forum/Smileys/default/shocked.gif

The deadline to send them in was 02/12/09
The boards were unpacked and prepared for shipment.

The shipment was held for almost a week, due to some stragglers http://fx-sabers.com/forum/Smileys/default/undecided.gif

The upgrade process is as follows
Chip is soldiered from the board
Placed in tray
Reprogrammed
Soldier to board
Board is flashed.

As they are being finished they will be shipped out in batches to Ultrasabers
As they arrive at Ultrasabers, they are sorted and repacked into anti-static bags and mailed out.

All this for 6.00!

Once we get word that they are coming in an announcement will be posted."

Right, so, is there a waiting list to sign up on, or will it be general admission when it comes to getting one?

Tim told me in an email that there was no list. It will be on a first come basis.
