You won't find 1 in the stores, they stopped making that style of razor many moons ago:(. I was lucky to find 1 in a drug store 2 years ago though.

I used to actually use one of those back in the '90s.

Most people don't know that there was a hard version, they only know the green ones with the rubbery grips. Yes the outer part is sparkly pinkish red.

Some day I'm going to actually make mine, I've got most of the greeblies I want to use on it.

I plan to use some extra parts from windshield wiper refill kits for the "antennae".

That'll be a nice prop when finished.

Although, after actually using it for its intended purpose, I'd have thought you would want to get the greeblies OUT of it beforehand.
:p

Ha.

I actually still need to clean the soap scum out of the grip ridges. :p

You can kind of see it in the bottom pic.

Actually, those pictures make me think it looks like the space herpe from the movie Ice Pirates.

I managed to find one of each kind in a box of junk someone dropped off at the thrift shop where I work. I washed them very carefully when I got them home.

I got them painted, and glued tire valves in them for the antennae, but that's as far as I got with them. I really should finish them and post pics.

I hope I can find what I did with the 2 solder lugs I found at one of the places where I used to work.

I haven't been able to find anything even close to the proper solder lugs. I was just planning to make my own out of some thin aluminum I have.

Geez I'm shocked at the prices those are going for...there was a christmas season discount dollar store in the mall here selling them for $2...I could have bought 100 of them and resold em on E[vil]Bay for $$$$...DOH

As it was I got a couple to make comms out of so I'm not unhappy...and yeah they had both kinds the rubbery and hard gripped.
